                Understanding the cost
                
                After our introductory call, we’ll craft a clear, draft breakdown of your new hire’s total monthly costs based on their remuneration package—so you can plan confidently, spot any hidden fees, and decide together whether our EOR solution is the right fit.

                        Gathering Information
                
                Next, we gather the necessary information to complete the paperwork and finalise the calculation of the total costs. Due to the ever-developing laws in this sphere and clients’ specifics, substantial information and attention to detail are needed to ensure a successful set-up.
                Preparation of employment
                
                For the EOR construction, we create two contracts: an employment contract between the employee and RP and one between RP and your company covering our terms and fees. Both contracts are linked and drafted based on the information gathered in the previous steps.

                Visa and residence permit application
                
                When the contracts are ready, we can proceed with the immigration process. We will work with a professional to apply for the permit. The application for a Highly Skilled Migrant permit officially takes up to 3-4 weeks, but it can take up to 3 months.

                Collecting the residence permit
                
                Once the visa and residence permit application are approved, the Immigration Authorities prepare the residence permit. If more is required, a temporary sticker can be collected in the passport, allowing the employee to work while the permit is issued.

                Registration at the municipality
                
                The employee can register at the municipality with the residence permit and obtain their citizen service number (BSN). The BSN is needed for the payroll and the 30% ruling to be applied.

                Enjoying the Netherlands
                
                When the above steps have been taken, the employee's normal life in the Netherlands starts. Rock Payroll will take care of the payslips and payment to the employee on behalf of your organization.
